World Autism Week 26th March – 2nd April

Every year, in the week leading up to World Autism Awareness Day (2nd April) members of the public take part in the World Autism Week. This is a full seven days where schools, workplaces, charities and individuals all over the UK are taking part in activities to raise money and awareness for the National Autistic Society.

'Sensory Overload', sometimes called 'Sensory Processing Disorder', is when a person has sensory processing issues. This happens because the brain has difficulty organising information from the senses.
